About
“The Turlock Mosquito Abatement District is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our community by providing effective and environmentally sound mosquito control and disease prevention through timely and efficient surveillance, control, and public awareness programs.”
The District is governed by California Mosquito and Vector Control Law along with an eight-member Board of Trustees. The trustees are local residents appointed by city councils and the board of supervisors of Stanislaus County. The District is publically funded and has monthly board meetings that are open to the public.
The District provides year-round service which includes prompt response to service requests, on-site inspections and mosquito control work as necessary. Mosquito fish are available at the District office.
